The home page speaks Indonesian
The home page is also at /id/ in Indonesian, with an EN and ID switch in the header. Docs and this changelog stay in English, as does the app.
Accounts, Cursor, Antigravity and a friendlier start
AI usage limits are one card per account, with the email partly hidden. A second Claude login can be added by hand in Services.
Cursor plan limits, read from Cursor's own sign-in. Antigravity's plan and its Gemini and Claude windows show with the account's email, and running Kiro and Antigravity tasks appear in the notch.
One Send tile on the shelf for AirDrop and nearby Android phones, and a QR code that lets any phone send files to your Mac through a web page, with no app.
AI usage cards stack from the top, show the full email when you click the hidden one, and the open notch can be dragged taller or shorter per page.
The Prayer page shows where the sun or the moon is: its compass direction and height, the moon's phase, and the time of day on the arc.
Finished downloads and focus sessions celebrate too, and the confetti also plays while the notch is open.
Amaru asks what to call you and says hello when it starts, with the logo's own animation. Settings no longer opens on every start.
Clicking a pop-up's close button no longer opens the whole notch under the pointer.
The UI is English throughout, a lighter Peek glow, a roomier shelf, and the new Amaru logo and icon.
Site
Amaru is a download, not a build
Amaru is closed source and shared as a ready-built zip. The home page and Install explain how to open it the first time and how to check it.

A new look for this site, and Windows soon
The landing page was redesigned and now follows what the app does today.
Windows is in planning as its own native app. There is no build and no date yet.
Docs gained Claude Code permissions, the Services panel and an up-to-date network table.
Answer Claude Code from the notch
Optional: Claude Code permission prompts arrive in the notch as Deny, Always or Allow.
You install the hook yourself. If Amaru is closed or you do not answer, Claude Code asks as usual.
Themes, pop-ups and island settings
Five notch themes: Classic, Peek, Peek Light, Glass and Pill. Peek's eyes can be the idle look.
Pop-ups with a level ring and a big number for the charger and Bluetooth devices, plus a Pop-ups page in Settings.
Choose how fast the notch opens (Quick, Normal, Slow) and how soon it closes, and set its width.
On first launch you pick the features you want, and the floating dock is marked Experimental.
AI services, OpenCode Go and costs
A Services panel shows what Amaru reads from each AI tool. Sign in runs the tool's own login in Terminal.
OpenCode Go plan limits, from the key OpenCode stored or one you add in Services.
Estimated costs from a built-in price table, with custom prices, an optional weekly update and USD or IDR.
The Usage tab got four pages and smoother motion.
Name
Dock is now Amaru
New name across the app, its permission prompts and the browser extension.
New icon: Peek, peeking over the edge, in the app icon and as a template icon in the menu bar.
The build is now Amaru.app. Your settings and permissions carry over.
Notch looks, idle slots and volume
Three looks: Classic, Glass and Pill, a floating capsule that also suits screens without a notch.
Choose what sits beside the camera when nothing is happening: clock, battery, today's tokens, plan left or a pet.
Your pet hides behind the camera when the pointer passes and peeks out on the other side.
Optional volume indicator for a moment after you change the volume.
Agents, forecasts and lyrics in the closed notch
A banner when Claude Code or Codex is waiting for your answer, with a button back to your terminal.
The current lyric line in the closed notch, and a per-song offset when lyrics run early or late.
Forecast of when a plan limit runs out at your recent pace, and a banner two hours before.
Plan resets in the notch calendar. Browser song titles tidied ("SONG · ARTIST").
Pets
Eight companions in native, pixel and illustrated styles, with coats, accessories and names.
Pip dances when music plays and watches when a film is on.
Notch banners for charger, battery, network, downloads, calendar and finished terminal or VS Code tasks.
Any app's music, more AI tools
Now Playing from any app, with equalizer bars in the notch and the right app badge.
Token usage from OpenCode, Gemini CLI, Qwen Code and Hermes Agent, next to Claude Code and Codex.
Synced lyrics from LRCLIB (off until you turn them on).
System page: CPU, GPU, memory, disks, network, battery and top processes. Add-ons page.
AI usage
Token and cost dashboard by day, month and model, read from local session logs.
Side rail with plan limit rings and a card per tool.
Agent sessions and plan limits in the notch.
Coding, focus and the shelf
Coding page for local servers, builds, Docker and Git.
Pomodoro that survives a restart, to-do list, notes and quick apps.
Shelf+, gestures, camera mirror, Bluetooth and download activity.
Browser media and focus rules through a paired Chromium extension.
Real data only
The notch shows your real music and calendar; sample data was removed from the app.
Smoother hover previews, keyboard navigation in both panels and a tighter dock.
